ADVENTURE CUSCO (7D/6N)
City Tour, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu

Tour Itinerary:
DAY 1: City Tour
The tour begins around the 13:30 pm. The first visit is to the imposing cathedral of colonial style and majestic pictures of the cusqueña school, continuing the route you will visit the temple of the sun (Qoricancha) which demonstrates a mixture of Inka architecture and Spanish architecture, after this visit you will continue on to see the strength of the Inka, “Sacsayhuaman”, carried on by the astrological and ceremonial center of Q'enqo, later you will visit the complex of Pucapucara finishing in Tambomachay (Temple of the Water) a center of adoration and worship of water.
The route finishes around 18:30 pm.
What is included

What is not included
- Entrance fees.
- Cusco Tourist Ticket called “Boleto Turístico Cusco” cost 130 soles, (approx 48US$), you can use this same ticket for Sacred Valley Tour.
- The Tourist Ticket allow you to visit 16 places, you can visit the rest of places another days, you will have 10 days to use this ticket.
- Students with ISIC card, pay half price.
- Entrance Qoricancha, 10 soles (approx. 4US$).
- Entrance to Cathedral 25 soles (approx. 9US$).
DAY 2: Sacred Valley Tour
The tour begins around the 08:30 am. We will collect you from your hotel, hostel etc in the morning around 8:15am, we will then proceed to the archaeological complex of Pisaq which shows the majestic abilities of the Inkas, in addition you will be able to appreciate all the Urubamba valley from the top of the complex, later we will visit the artisan market of Pisaq (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday) where you will be able to make purchases of crafts of very good quality.
We will continue through the valley up to the small town of Urubamba where we will stop for lunch buffet, we will continue on to the Inka town of Ollantaytambo which conserves its streets with Inka houses. Will rise to the top of the archaeological complex of the same name to appreciate the majesty and beauty that it has to offer.
Later we will continue to the town of Chinchero where we will be able to appreciate the best of Inka textiles with the same style that has been done there for 500 years.
During the excursion you will visit:
- Pisaq ruins.
- Pisaq market (Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday).
- Ollantaytambo archaeological site.
- Chinchero colonial village, and Andean market.
- Ollantaytambo archaeological site.

DAY 3, 4, 5, 6: Machu Picchu (bike & rafting & hike & zip line)
DAY 3 : Cusco - Santa María (bike and then rafting)
Pick up from hostel between 7:00 to 7:30 a.m., going to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where we can appreciate beautiful and scenic natural attractions, then we will arrive to Ollantaytambo for breakfast and buy some snacks and water, continuing to Puerto Málaga starting point of our bike ride, after cycling for 2 hours approx. we reach Huamanmarca then we board our bus and go to Santa María village, arrival time 2pm approx. remember that we have the assistance of our vehicle during the trip where we store our luggage.
After lunch we take a river rafting, always accompanied by safety kayak, encountering rapids class 2,3 making this experience unforgettable, at the end of this exciting adventure our bus will be waiting for us to return to Santa María where we spend the night after dinner.
DAY 4 : Santa María – Santa Teresa (walk)
Early morning, after having breakfast around 6:30am we will start the trek along the river, go up 1 ½ hours during the hike appreciate coffee, mango, banana, orange plantations in addition to typical fruits and fauna of the region, we can rest and refresh in the villages we encounter on the road, once on top we can see the whole valley of the Urubamba river, then we go to Quellomayo where we have lunch and then continue the walk along the banks of the river, walk through the valley will be approx. 3 hours, if you want you can take a swim in the hot springs before we arrive to Santa Teresa village,(once you are in Santa Teresa you can enjoy the zip-line (optional)), in the village we have dinner and settled in the hostel.
DAY 5 : Santa Teresa – Aguas Calientes (hiking)
Early morning after having breakfast we start walking to “Hidroélectrica Machu Picchu” for two and a half hours during the walk we appreciate beautiful landscapes surrounded by mountains and nature, have lunch and continuing for about three more hours, then we will arrive to Aguas Calientes, where we have dinner and spend our last night, if you want you can swim in the hot springs.
DAY 6 : Machu Picchu - Cusco (walk and visit the Inca citadel)
In order to enjoy the perfect view of Machu Picchu ruins is necessary to leave our hotel at 04:30am approx. to avoid another groups and we will enjoy the sunrise above Machu Picchu, to get Machu Picchu ruins is necessary to take a walk through the mountain, around 6:00am we will be in the checking point.
When you get Machu Picchu Sanctuary the guide will immerse you in the history of Inkas, after this you will have free time (40 minutes) to take pictures or visit the ruins by your own or climb Wayna Picchu, after that we will return to Aguas Calientes, then Ollantaytambo by train and Cusco by bus. As you can see our trek will assure us an unforgettable experience, join us !.

- Bus ticket to Machu Picchu (round trip US$14).
- Entrance fee to Santa Teresa hot springs. (US$4. approx.).

We recommend that you bring
- A backpack with a change of clothes, daypack to carry your personal belongings.
- Comfortable clothing, sport shoes or biking shoes.
- Light jacket for wind and rain.
- Hat or cap for sun protection, sunblock, after-sun cream, sunglasses.
- Insect repellent (20% DEET or higher recommended).
- Toiletries, towels and toilet paper.
- Snacks: energy bars, raw fruits, etc.
- Cash in US$ and/or soles for souvenirs, drinks.
- Handkerchiefs.
- Swimsuit (if you want to swim in the hot springs).
- Original Passport, original ISIC International Student Identity Card (in case you have applied for a student discount).
- Walking sticks or poles (rubber covers required in order not to damage archaeological sites).
- Camera & Extra Film & Batteries / Charger.
- Non-disposable water canteen. We provide you with fresh water in order to avoid using plastic bottles.
