Machu Picchu & Sacred Valley
If you are in a short vacation and you don’t have enough time to spend in Cusco this tour was designed for you, a full day visit to the famous Machu Picchu and the second day a full day visit to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Tour Itinerary:
DAY 1 : Machu Picchu by Train (1 DAY)
A full day visit to the world famous Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, departing Cusco in the early morning to reach Poroy train station or Ollantaytambo train station according to the train service you have chosen (Vista dome, Expedition or Hiram Bingham) and then Aguas Calientes town after a 4-hour train ride. From this point, a bus will take us up to the ruins to start a full-guided tour of the Inca city lasting between 2,5 - 3 hours, after which you will enjoy free time to further visit this impressive archaeological site. In the afternoon, bus ride back to Aguas Calientes to board the train that will take us back to Cusco, with an estimated arrival time around 8.30 p.m.
What is included
- Transfers to and from hotel to Poroy or Ollantaytambo train station.
- Train ticket from Poroy or Ollantaytambo train station to Aguas Calientes (round trip).
- Bus tickets from Aguas Calientes to Machupicchu ruins (round trip).
- Machupicchu 1D entrance fee.
- Guided service by an official English-speaking tourist guide.
- Buffet lunch at Machupicchu Sanctuary Lodge (when requested).
What is not included

DAY 2 : Sacred Valley Tour
The tour begins around the 08:30 am. We will collect you from your hotel, hostel etc in the morning around 8:15am, we will then proceed to the archaeological complex of Pisaq which shows the majestic abilities of the Inkas, in addition you will be able to appreciate all the Urubamba valley from the top of the complex, later we will visit the artisan market of Pisaq (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday) where you will be able to make purchases of crafts of very good quality.
We will continue through the valley up to the small town of Urubamba where we will stop for lunch buffet, we will continue on to the Inka town of Ollantaytambo which conserves its streets with Inka houses. Will rise to the top of the archaeological complex of the same name to appreciate the majesty and beauty that it has to offer.
Later we will continue to the town of Chinchero where we will be able to appreciate the best of Inka textiles with the same style that has been done there for 500 years. Excursion finish at 6:30 p.m
During the excursion you will visit:
- Pisaq ruins.
- Pisaq market (Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday).
- Ollantaytambo archaeological site.
- Chinchero colonial village, and Andean market.
What is included
- Private transportation to all sites including transfers from your hotel.

What is not included
- Entrance fees.
- Cusco Tourist Ticket called “Boleto Turístico Cusco” cost 130 soles, (approx 48US$), you can use this same ticket for city Tour, and to visit museums in the city. Students with ISIC card, pay half price.
